How to Use

Here are the general usage instructions:

1. After cleansing your face (and applying toner if you use one), apply the serum.
2. Dispense a small amount (often 1-2 pumps or a few drops depending on packaging) and apply either to the entire face or focus on problem areas (dark spots, uneven tone).
3. Gently pat or smooth the serum into the skin until fully absorbed.
4. Follow with a moisturizer. In your morning routine, follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen (very important when addressing pigmentation).
5. Use consistently — many brands recommend morning *and* night for best results.

Disclaimer & Things to Consider

* Although formulated to be gentle, **results will vary** depending on skin type, severity of pigmentation, sun-exposure, consistency of use. For example:

  > “I have been using (it) for 5 months … it hasn’t had any effect on my skin. The texture is nice … but my dark spots are still very much there.” ([Reddit][3])
  > “Definitely not worth the buy if you have PIH! It hardly lightens hyperpigmentation …”
* Because it contains active ingredients (niacinamide at 5% plus botanical extracts) you should patch-test before full-face use, especially if you have sensitive skin.
* When treating dark spots/hyperpigmentation: daily sun-protection is *crucial*. Without sunscreen, brightening/spot-correction treatments will be less effective or may be undone by UV exposure.
* If you are using other strong actives (e.g., strong chemical exfoliants, retinoids, acids) in the same routine, monitor for signs of irritation (redness, burning, excessive peeling).
* Use as cosmetic skincare — not a medical treatment. If you have persistent, severe pigmentation (e.g., deep melasma), it’s wise to consult a dermatologist.
* If you experience irritation, unexpected breakouts, or worsening of skin, discontinue use and consult a professional.
* Store according to instructions (cool, dry place, sealed) to maintain stability of actives.
